Preview: Golden Sun Movement Presents ‘ON’

We all love a bit of psychedelia here at Maison Notion.  We just so happen to have found an exhibition to feed our cravings for nostalgia and all things trippy-hippy.  The show will feature three artists: Luke Insect, Leo Zero and Dave Little.

The first, Luke Insect, has previously done projects with musicians such as Kano and The Prodigy.  He’s worked with labels Stussy and Levi’s, creating limited edition t-shirts.  After running INSECT, a design and illustration collective, for ten years he  now has his own boutique studio in Brighton.

Leo Zero is a multi-talented artist, who also produces, remixes and D.J.s music.  Art-wise, he’s worked with some of the Big Dogs: Time Out, EMI, Dazed & Confused and so forth.  God knows how he multitasks so much, but he seems to do it well, creating some pretty cool tongue-in-cheek artwork in his time.

Last but not least, Dave Little did sleeve design, logo design, club art and fashion actually when Acid House was rife in the ’80s.  He’s worked with brands like Virgin and Pepsi and is basically amazing.  We have evidence:

By the looks of it there’s going to be some hypnotic artwork going on at this exhibition, worth a visit I’m sure you’ll agree.  Head down to The Idea Generation Gallery, 11 Chance Street in London any time between the 20th April and the 8th May to get a taste of the Psychedelia movement.
