Isle of Wight Festival 2011 announces new beach venue
In conjunction with Boxfresh, Isle of Wight Festival 2011 has decided to celebrate its 10th birthday with the introduction of a summery beach venue. ‘Life’s a beach’ brings the seaside inland, where people will be able to relax and chill out, while also being able to attend numerous activities that are scheduled to take place over the festival weekend. Exercise classes, beach yoga lessons, live music and fire jugglers all at the same location!
By day the area will be specifically for taking time out from the average festival routine, but once the sun sets the beach will become a live stage for great music acts. The line-up for Isle of Wight Festival is really quite special this year, featuring live performance from Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Iggy and the Stooges, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Vaccines, Wild Beasts and many more. This year, the festival is bound to be a showstopper.
The Isle of Wight Festival takes place from 10th – 12th June at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight. If you’d like to keep up to date with only days leading up to the festival check out the Official Isle of Wight Twitter page.
