Clock Opera’s new single ‘Lesson No. 7′ was announced back in August, due for release on Moshi Moshi/Island on October 3rd.
On top of the band’s own two tracks comes the sensational Tom Vek’s first ever remix which you can stream below.
In contrast to their previous release, new single ‘Lesson No. 7’ is an intense and aggressive cut from the off that portrays Clock Opera’s depth and diversity. Along with Guy Connelly’s powerful vocals, the scaling atmosphere surrounding its punchy bass gives Lesson No. 7 a contagious and relentless energy bewildering it’s listeners’ bodies into contagious movement.
Vek’s take on the track instantly isolates an ambient, electro tone. The atmosphere scales in a much more subtle, intricate manner – expanding upon the gripping vibe already laid down by its original form.
Clock Opera’s first headline show in almost a year will be on Wednesday September 14th at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen in London, and their debut album is due in early 2012 on Moshi Moshi / Island Records. The band are also heading out with Metronomy and Chapel Club as well as the Iceland Airwaves festival, full dates are listed on their site linked below.
