J.W Anderson kicked off menswear day again with a packed salon show, swooning in muggy London morning weather. The show failed to reach the peak of last season’s kilted, androgynous beauty. Over-sized sequins, crochet tops, leather-chain bodypieces were a challenging start, short shorts in nylons and matching over-sized paisley elements followed. Strongest were tailored satin trousers in grey and tangerine and chunky, kiltied, Prada-esque shoes. Backpacks in collaboration with Porter also hit the mark.
