Preview: Return to the Future

On 16 December, a new night launches in the fabled warehouses of Hackney Wick called Return to the Future. It’s a new name, but the guys behind it have been organising events around LDN for years now, Will H being integrally involved in the development of some of the best warehouse parties in the early east London scene while Poundtown has been producing various festival stages around the world. With fingers in all the right clubbing pies, the duo have been encouraged by close mates Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and Seth Troxler’s Vision Quest crew to do their own party

And what a party.

Held at The Print House in Hackney Down Studios, Return to the Future features headliners Art Department, bringing their unique blend of tech funk with support from the underground deep techno sounds of Supplement Facts’ Bill Patrick. Adding more weight to the launch is rising talent Alexis Raphael, whose recent releases and Crèche parties have been taking the summer party scene by storm. The cherry on an already amazing cake is a live pa from Ali Love – performing some of his recent collaborations ‘Forward Motion’ with Hot Natured, and ‘Different Morals’ with Luca C and Brigante.

Return To The Future launches on Friday December 16th and will be bi-monthly after that, with resident Luca C.
