A Mixtape Medley From 2011
Ahh the art of the mixtape, an assemblage of personally selected songs usually reflecting the musical tastes of its compiler or sometimes linked by a theme or mood. Whether it’s to make a statement, an ode to loved ones, or just streams of your beloved tracks, we heart mixtapes in all their bursting at the seams brilliance.
Over the past twelve months we’ve had a barrage of cracking mixtapes exclusive to Planet Notion that has injected breathtaking vigour into our hungover/lethargic steps. It would be arduously time-consuming to pinpoint our favourites as they’ve all dazzled, twinkled and washed over us with euphoric bliss. So to make re-living this utopian divinity easier, we’ve compartmentalised all our specially crafted mixtapes from 2011 in chronological order. So sit back, plug in and stream until your wee heart’s content and here’s to hoping next year produces equally as stunning compilations.
