Introducing Our BOTW: The 2 Bears

The 2 Bears are Joe Goddard and Raf Rundell. Goddard is also one fifth of Hot Chip and founder of dance label Greco-Roman; he met Raf working at the Soundsystem parties, and went on to pair their production to create an ursine-named act – they even dress up in bear outfits when they’re feeling particularly grizzly. Joe and Raf are, seemingly, massive fans of table tennis – they even sell branded bat n ball sets on their website. We’ve been listening to the 2 Bears album, Be Strong, a lot in the Notion office and danced our heads off to their set at Bugged Out this weekend – safe to say we’re big fans. So in honour of the duo being pretty damn swell, we’ve dubbed them our Band Of The Week and will be conducting an interview, doing a review and posting other BOTW-related goodies throughout the week.

The 2 Bears album, Be Strong, will be released on Sunday 29th January.
