Photo Special: California Dreaming

Our photographer mates always send us such lovely stuff. If it wasn’t jealousy-making enough that they get to travel internationally, shoot beautiful models and generally live the high life, they frequently send us over what they term as ‘a few snaps’ that they took on their latest trip. Open up the email, download the photos and what you have is of course a beautifully-shot series of atmospheric gig and location shots, any of which would make fantastic album covers. CJ of Interlife Pictures was over in California a few weeks ago, and has come back with this series of shots from gig nights across Silverlake, Santa Monica and LA proper. After shooting the local bands The New Division, Hands and Princeton, The New Division invited him to cover their next gig in Santa Monica. Tough life, eh? But here’s what we get; these fantastic images. SCORE.
