Introducing Our BOTW: Blondes

So, Blondes are a pretty big deal right now. If we were bold chaps, we’d say they’re the biggest deal in music aside from the next issue of Notion’s coverstars (ooh who are they? WE’RE NOT TELLING YOU, SILLY!). We’ve had their self-titled record on repeat in the office, we’ve seen them live, and we’ve written stark-raving positive reviews about ‘em. It seems like the rest of the music biz can’t stop gushing about them either, from Drowned In Sound‘s words of praise to Dummy‘s, well… er… words of praise. Follow those links and you’ll see for yourselves what the universal opinion of Blondes is. To be honest, we don’t have much to add. We’re all in agreement that Blondes are bloody fantastic (even though I’m a brunette, but because of how good Blondes are I’m thinking of bleaching my hair, no joke), and that is why they are our Band Of The Week.
