Laurel Collective – They Hate Me

Laurel Collective, the makers of festivals. Fact. With their desultory music releases over the past few years, Laurel Collective is a band that has definitely taken a spot at the forefront of modern British music. With the forthcoming debut album Heartbeat Underground popping onto the horizon, as well as their new single ‘They Hate Me’ coming March 19th, it seems that Laurel Collective are a band that has finally set the standards for music in this country.

They Hate Me is a terrific example of the band’s experimental yet totally unpretentious pop album; upbeat percussion is juxtaposed by dark synth, sparse guitar riffs and frenzied sing-a-longs which demonstrates each member’s individual witty, diverse and modern talent.
