Just what the Doctor Ordered

The Doctor’s Orders are “The kings of the capital’s Hip-Hop scene” according to Time-out and we are featuring them on Planet Notion, as they are the first point of call for anything Hip-Hop. Bringing you some of the biggest names alongside throwing massive unpretentious parties since 2005 for the real music fans, The Doctor’s Orders are simply ‘’Iconic.’’ Visit their website for more details on these previews.

First up, your summer 2012 event- pen it in the diary! The Nextmen VS DJ Vadim session in your fabulously endearing city of London at East Village on April 5th. Get tickets soon; advance are £7.50, early bird’s are a fiver and on the door you pay £10, so it only makes sense to get your tickets asap. The event is at 89 Great Eastern Street consisting of a four hour, electric, rhythmic-skank of a ride with tunes from Hip-Hop, Dubstep, reggae and jungle.  Please bring with you your high spirits as the DJ heavyweight Vadim collaboration event won’t tolerate anything less.

Next up is Dilla’s Sketch. Described by The Doctor’s Orders as ‘A dope mix of J-Dilla productions by Dephect family (www.dephect.com).’ Check out this cool stuff mixed by DJ Getz at the link provided!

Last but most definitely not least, A Tribe Called Quest Mix named ‘Breaks Beats Rhymes and Life,’ by Spin Doctor. Presenting an hour and forty minute mix dedicated to one of the classics and originals of Hip-Hop, this one sews together, popular tracks, original breaks, a few rarities and interview slices to create the passion and art of this genre. So if you’re a hip-hop, jazz and soul fan, this one is a banger!
