Exlovers are a dreamy new band from the city of Lahndahn, and have already be championed by the likes of BBC’s Marc Riley and Nylon Magazine. The five-piece guitar band put a modern spin on the sounds of nineties indie, shoegaze and britpop, yet they cite more obscure influences such as Phillip Glass and the Cocteau Twins. They formed in 2008 and just a short year later found themselves on stage at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire playing NME Awards shows. On 18th June the Exlovers will be releasing their debut album, Moth, through the Young And Lost Club label and have secured themselves a strong position in Britain’s underground indie scene.
