Introducing Our BOTW: Joe & Will Ask

There are a few questions that one could justifiably pose to Joe & Will Ask, but the one that immediately springs to mind is “are you actually called Joe and Will?” While a quick bit of researching would, of course, prove that these names do in fact belong to the duo, it’s only in the research that you realise what you should’ve asked in the first place – namely “why are you so good?”

Okay, so maybe we’re coming off a little strong, but Joe and Will really are very good. Their music sits somewhere between house and electro, a collision of genres stemming from their respective musical backgrounds – Joe from Drum’n'Bass and Will from trance – and this marriage of sounds has certainly paid off.

Having released music on labels like Gulp, Kitsune and, most recently, Deadly People, Joe and Will Ask have been steadily building to the release of their debut album, Vikings, due for release in June.

And, on what anyone would have heard from Joe and Will so far, the question they’d be dying to raise is, “Why do we have to wait until June to hear it?” Well, as a sneak peak treat we’ll be giving you a preview of the record in the form of an album review and some added extras – think a free track, video and interview – later on this week.
