Our Band of the Week, Glen Hansard, is good. And we’re not being biased because we really think he’s good – as do the people who vote for the Oscars, don’t you know. That’s right, he’s won an Oscar for his music. If that’s not a mark of quality then I don’t know what is. I mean, Three 6 Mafia won an Oscar for music…

Anyway, I digress. The latest track from Mr. Hansard, ‘Love Don’t Leave Me Waiting’, is available to stream below, and, while not being in the same league as ‘It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp’, is a really lovely song. It’s a slow, mournful ballad, with Hansard’s smooth, gruff voice washing over like a cool breeze.
