London In Stereo Presents… Gigs Of The Week #8

This week London In Stereo picks gigs headlined by Future of the Left, Slime, and Liars. Other awesome gigs taking place come from the likes of 4AD signing Purity Ring, X Factor alumnus Aiden Grimshaw, and the legendary Suzanne Vega. Plus LOVEBOX, of course, which is taking place this weekend.

London In Stereo’s Gigs Of The Week

Future of The Left // Fever Fever – XOYO (Sold Out) – Thursday 14th June
Ok so it is sold out, but this is definitely worth making gig of the week. After a while away making their new album Future of the Left are BACK and I have a feeling they’re better than ever. It’ll be loud and there will be swearing. You have been warned.

Slime // Fort Romeau // Micachu DJ – Birthdays – Friday 15th June
Slime is minimalist electro at its most elegant. You should definitely keep your eye on this guy; having released a handful of brilliant tracks, it’ll be great to see what he can do live.

Liars // Vessel – XOYO – Tuesday 12th June
Having caught their fantastic (but far too early in the day) set at Field Day this year we’re prepared to be blown away by Liars playing in an actual venue, where they belong. Bring earplugs.
