Video Premiere: Dan Le Sac ft. B Dolan – Caretaker

Here’s a right visual/sonic treat from good old Dan Le Sac, featuring B Dolan. And this isn’t any old exclusive: it has been directed by the artists themselves. The video follows a woman through various streets, pubs and cafs of East London before returning home to her sinister husband. The single is filled with luscious, deep bass drones and B Dolan’s flawlessly spat rhymes.

Here’s what Dan Le Sac had to say about the film: ”The ‘Caretaker’ video was a labour of love for B Dolan and Myself. The concept was his and between us we directed. Every friend I could find helped in someway, and although it was a truly ramshackle affair without any real experience between us, I think we’ve made something to be proud of! It’s the story of a down-trodden wife who, after years of drudgery and abuse, reaches the final straw and takes the opportunity to free herself.”

The video for the ‘Caretaker’ single is taken from Dan’s debut solo album Space Between The Words, out 9th July on Rob Da Bank’s Sunday Best label.
