LCM: E. Tautz

Keeping the sporting and military vibes running throughout his collection once again, designer Patrick Grant brought a more relaxed aspect to E. Tautz’s Savile Row tailoring for SS13. Named ‘School Colours for Cricket’, striped school ties and short suits ensured the brand’s playful side was out and ready to make an impact, transforming the rather beautiful models into schoolboys.

Statement graphics on tees and jumpers gave the clean cut collection its London edge. Vibrant hues reflected the wildlife of Ethiopia and a bold colour palette consisting of cornflower blues, canary yellows and, of course, pinks, injected just the right amount of pazzaz. Flowing capes and coats combined with sharp suits ensured the collection’s sophistication remained and the models looked as dapper as ever.

E. Tautz’s clothes are once again full of witty humour, something us Brits tend to do extremely well, whilst still managing to remain effortlessly cool. Patrick Grant, we salute you.
