Sloped shoulders and Allen Ginsberg as inpiration? Oh Omar, you do spoil me. Spring/Summer 2013 is home to men that love to rock and roll with an eccentric trouser. Said men, however, also enjoy sauntering down the streets of Cannes looking wildly expensive in a neutral palette with flashes of orange.
Chic and casual tailoring was at the fore with bearded models doing their damnedest to look effortless in statement hats and double-take sunglasses. Trademark navy tailoring sat with pyjama-esque jackets. Shorts were, er… quite short. Structured knitwear was shaped with a view to make one imagine (and drool over) the torso underneath and sandy shades incessantly underlined Kashoura’s obsession with quality. Relaxed but exquisite, this collection made every onlooker feel like they were trying too hard.
