Lacoste 1927 Tribute Collection SS12

Some afternoon Lacoste lovin’ from their Tribute atelier – first introduced in AW11 to celebrate its founder, René Lacoste’s, iconic career moments – the celebrations continue into SS12 with a shiny new footwear range.

The year 1927 marks a particularly sporty era (and René) for the Croc and so, appropriately these offerings are stylistically geared towards more practical wear. A keen and successful tennis player, René scored seven grand slam victories in his career which is marked with seven stars on each shoe’s tongue tab.
