I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the latest outing from Simon Cowell’s Pop Factory that is the X Factor to be nearly as good as it is. But there you go; sometimes the man feels the need to do something good, and Little Mix’s debut single ‘Wings’ has summer smash written all over it – it’s like Beyonce meets that amaze Moulin-Rouge era version of Lady Marmelade meets Lumidee with a generous sprinkling of WWII-era Aguilera and a bit of Sugababes attitude. Not sure I can say better than that, really. So yeah, we *rather* like it. You’ve probably heard it by now, so here we have a rather great little (re)mix [see what we did there?] of it by The Alias. Packing more bass and heavier beats, this amps Little Mix up to 11. Listen, enjoy and get yourself in the mood for a summer that might arrive soon. If you play this, it might even arrive sooner (not a guarantee).
