To launch the all new Luke Roper Golf range a barnstorming golf day and night was held at Calderfields Golf and Country Club. Despite a drop of rain spirits were not dampened in the slightest, which was partly down to the Patrón Tequila bar and Asahi bar keeping golfers refreshed, not to mention Nick’s Tandoori Nights serving the best samosas this side of India!
With the likes of DJ Spoony, Craig Gardner, Mark Albrighton, Dean Ashton and Andy Hopkins from The Enemy joining Luke customers and friends of the brand there was a fantastic atmosphere from the first to the last tee. Snake-wielding, fire-spinning stunners Girls Roc brought a bit of daring glamour to the occasion and everyone finished on the 18th with a smile on their face.
The day was rounded of with a night of fun and frolics including a casino, Patrón serving some mind-blowing cocktails and DJ’s from Midland Pro DJ keeping the dance floor rocking. The fantastic Vicky Jackson provided a truly great Lady Gaga tribute act while there was an amazing impromptu acoustic set by Jon McClure from Reverand and the Makers, which really got the crowd going! A truly awesome golf event with a classic Luke twist, which was a fitting way to launch the stunning new Luke Roper golf range and support the Fashion and Textile Children’s Trust. If Luke did golf days…
