BOTW Free Track: The Chapman Family ‘Summer Song’

The Chapman Family have a gloomy chaotic sound which the band themselves describe as being a part of the shoegaze genre, this rebellious sound is well heard on ‘Summer Song’ which is available to download below. With the unnerving video based on lead singer Kingsley’s art school work; its a clever stilted theme also evidenced in the video for ‘This English Life‘ where the Union Jack is held aloft on a hilltop for the songs duration, wavering in the breeze. It’s a great way of utilizing the fact that songs need an image for YouTube, and these anti-videos continue to fulfill the bands bleak maleficent sound.
