New: Crystal Vision TV launches on YouTube
Crystal Vision TV is a totally fresh YouTube project from two Radio 1 and 1Xtra producers Laura May Coope and Alistair Parrington; with the content asking the viewer “what do you want to see?”
Set as a house party and referencing 80s Yoof TV such as Janet Street Porter’s Network 7 and The Word, via a Choose Your Adventure system to create a modern buffet style TV show that allows the viewer to be in control. Episode 1 features the very up and coming Daniel Avery, AmazingPhil, danisnotonfire, Georgia LA (SBTV), and Peter & Kerry, with blogger Hyperfrank presenting the Grime Lounge featuring MC’s Mr Faizer + Koder. Laura-May Coope, known on the Internet under her Milk Teeth brand explains; “I always liked the way Internet celebrities like Kitty Pryde, Kreayshawn, Midnight Beast, and back to Suicide Girls, JeffreeStar etc have these die hard fan armies that stalk them with love and online tributes, and just thought it would be fun to team internet slebs with regular slebs, and see what happens. ”
