Marco Bergman developed a love of music at a young age, inspired by his father who played the piano. His DJ career began at the age of seventeen by visiting a friend who had just bought some DJ equipment. Marco started as a resident at Lorre in Delft and is still one of the leading residents at the club. Playing a combination of tech house, progressive and (electro)house he has rocked many dance floors, including student parties and even radio stations like Eclectic Radio. On the production front, his releases cover several styles of house from tech house, like Stardust, to progressive house, like Bounce, to electro house, like his collaboration with Bas Retesz, Alright Jaw, to househop, like Pump Through The Speakers feat. MC Fer. He has also remixed tracks like Calvin Harris’ Let’s Go feat. Ne-Yo and Jordan Rivera’s Keep On Holding feat. Spoonface. Marco’s forthcoming release on Room 01 Recordings fits in perfectly with this diverse discography.
Marco Bergman’s This Instant EP has something for everyone. He takes elements of techno, indie and even some Latin vibes and moulds them into genuine floor fillers of the house genre. This Instant takes us back to disco and is perfect for a summer beach party; whilst Ritmo is a pure club-cut, designed to fill any main room. The EP also contains three remixes of This Instant. Cliffhanga, Beat My Bear and Tech Chic Design take these genres and spin them into dubstep, electro thrash and a genre that doesn’t really have a name yet!
