Alpha-ville 2012: innovation, creativity and forward thinking
On Saturday 6th October 2012, Alpha-ville will be making a big, highly anticipated comeback. Following three successful festivals held over the past few years, Alpha-ville will be returning this autumn with a variety of individual events, now presenting the former festival as ‘an independent cultural platform for innovative, creative and forward thinking’.
To kick-start this year’s Alpha-ville is the Alpha-ville Live, which will bring electronic music and visual performances together at London’s Hackney Empire with performances by Murcof, Simon Geilfus, The Field and Byetone. The Alpha-ville Screening, set to take place at the Hackney Picturehouse in London, will host the Future of Moving Image Award as well as present moving image works by young talent during the curated programme “Unfinity”.
Get yourself ready for this event by picking your tickets up early – these are priced at £8 for each Alpha-ville Screening session, and cost up to £30 for the Alpha-ville Live. More details on this event can be found over at www.alpha-ville.co.uk.
