Tinchy Stryder joins in on the Peace Mix project
Ghanaian musician Tinchy Stryder has recently joined hip hop duo and Notion Magazine cover stars Rizzle Kicks in his support for the Big Lottery Fund’s Peace Mix project, a music competition which encourages peace among young people through musical expression. Following through with his belief in the ability of music to help young people “rise above bad situations” and “stop making trouble”, Tinchy Stryder will be performing on Tuesday, 28th August at the London Roundhouse, where a final collaboration track, formed with the recordings of the competition winners, will be unveiled.
The Peace Mix invites young people to convey their ideas and interpretations of peace through music, beats and lyrics, by recording their messages over a pre-recorded online backing track. For more information about this competition, head over to www.peacemix.co.uk. If you’re a UK resident and want to record your own message, visit www.peacemix.co.uk/competition and submit your entry by Monday, 13th August.
