Get yourself to Rough Trade East on Thursday August 23rd for the third instalment of Jameson’s Whiskey & Words series. So far, these events have proved really popular, which is no surprise really, as they bring together contemporary book lovers and prominent authors with up and coming music talents in a unique and intimate setting and then of course, they throw in some delicious Jameson cocktails.
Next week’s event will be hosted by Selena Goddens, and former Dazed and Confused writer Ned Beauman will introduce his second book, The Teleportation Accident, which has been shortlisted for the 2012 Booker Prize. Fans of 2008 cult novel Kill Your Friends, will be thrilled to hear that author John Niven will be spilling the beans on his new book, the Second Coming. As if the impressive literary line up and plethora of booze isn’t enough, LA Salami and Laura J Martin will be providing the soundtrack to your evening.
