Exclusive: Jess Mills – For My Sins (Gorgon City Remix)

We’re big fans of Jess Mills’ track ‘For My Sins’, which is full of broad muted bass, consists of laid back dance beats and is topped with Mills’ misty high range vocals. It includes really cool-yet-emo lyrics like “I’m a beat from breaking,” “I’m hiding myself so no one’s a winner,” and “Bravery come and speak to me / And make me believe what I’ve become / Since I let him go”.

Although the original is super catchy, it’s been remixed by the likes of Phaeleh and Etherwood. The latest producer to rework ‘For My Sins’ is Gorgon City, who douses the song with heavy house vibes, making it more beat- than melody-driven. Listen to the stream exclusively below.
