Toy Story: Tata Naka’s playful pre-fall collection

When a fashion label looks to the visual arts and design realms for inspiration, it’s bound to come up with a fantastic collection bursting with creativity. So, when Tata Naka based its pre-fall 2012 collection Toy Story on the amazing sculptures by British artist Robert Bradford, we knew right off the bat that this collection would be both imaginative and beautifully artistic. We literally squealed with excitement when we saw the label’s collection at Selfridges: high in colour and featuring ideal classic cuts for today’s trendy young woman, the collection was given a lovely twist with two prints designed by Tata Naka’s design competition winner, Salomé Grigolashvili. Bradford’s influence on this collection lends it a bold touch, and we’re sure any fashion-forward female will enjoy wearing many of these expressive pieces all throughout the fall.

The pre-fall collection is currently available at Selfridges. For more information about the brand, visit www.tatanaka.com.
