Sofie Olsen is a remarkable young artist who photographs reality with an absolute passion, turning each captured moment and emotion into something soft and memorable. Here at Notion, we’re definitely fans of Olsen’s work – even through her black and white photographs, the Norwegian artist translates all of the richest and most colourful aspects of life beautifully. We were in awe as we scrolled through her series The Mohen People, in which her underwater shots have captured light and colour so marvellously and in a way that’s so unique, one would almost mistake them for paintings.
Showcasing her art at her very first solo exhibition Drifters, which is set to present her photographic work alongside an array of sound and video work, Olsen is certainly shooting her way up to fame. The exhibition will take place at London’s syz.y.gy from 13th September up until the 30th, with a private viewing planned on the 13th from 6 to 9 PM – be sure to head out to the exhibition, discover Olsen’s fantastic work, and let her help you fall in love with life’s little wonders all over again.
