Back after great success last year, Pitchfork Festival feels like something whipped straight out of Planet Notion’s wildest dreams. Since seeing the line up we’ve all been skipping around singing Oh Happy Day exactly like Whoopi Goldberg in Sister Act. Pitchfork festival takes place this November in Paris’ Grand Halle de la Ville. Now a buzzing hub of music and culture, the former slaughter house will be transformed into a stage for the hippest names in music.
This week, organisers have announced that; Death Grips, Julio Bashmore, How To Dress Well, DIIV and ethereal indie pop act Purity Ring have all been added to the line up. When you consider that acts such as (our latest cover star) Jessie Ware along with; Liars, Grizzly Bear, Animal Collective, M83, Wild Nothing and my personal favourite AlunaGeorge have all already been confirmed – I’m under no illusion that you too, like us, will be salivating like Pavlov’s dog.
Pitchfork Festival is from the 1st -3rd of November. A selection of single, two or three day tickets are available on their website, where you can also swoon over the full line up.
