House of Holland. Always an entertaining show. With Alexa, Poppy, Pixie and Kelly causing a paparazzi frenzy for the first ten minutes- things were bound to run late.
It finally began with a brilliant soundtrack of 80s and 90s hip hop come dance music to fuel the models struts in their tie-dye clad outfits. Big and wavy hair flowed under the jewel-encrusted beanies, and was the perfect juxtaposition the Holland’s ever questioning t-shirts. My favourite read simply: Bitch.
Although the prints were there, this was a slightly more sombre palette than Henry Holland normally opts for- indeed the collection was entitled ‘Buzz Kill’, and just in case we had forgotten Henry came out to his applause with a t-shirt that had the name emblazoned on.
His collection was as ever young and fun- and there’s definitely a pair of multi coloured dungarees I want- but is he still a One Trick Pony?
