LFW SS13: Fred Butler

Miss Fred Butler visually defines the expression: ‘That shit cray’ and the scantily-clad hip-hop honieez that met us, on entering the Portico Rooms this morning, only served to confirm that sentiment.

The predominantly swimwear and accessories collection, entitled ‘A Bee in My Bonnet’, was a whole lorra ghetto superstar. Plastic honeycomb hexagons were crafted into super sexy boob enhancers and bikinis, layered over peeping latex, hand and head decorations (backpacks and clutches the former, baseball caps and headbands the latter) and a generous amount of chav but chic chains and hoops – all rendered in ghetto glittery golds.

Prettier daisies dangled from teeny tiny latex pants on heavily beaded chains and adorned the handful of honey beez’ feet, as the custom made soundtrack buzzed and hummed, bringing the muse of Fred’s latest two cents alive. Buzzing about Butler, yeah we are.
