The last show of the day was plagued by the rookie PR error of over allocating tickets – an association which unfortunately the  duo have become notorious for – prompting many a ‘putting the ‘Q’ in PPQ’ captioned twitpics – season after season. Moral of the story? We were among the one hundred strong crowd left still queuing as the show kicked off. We got over it and instead caught up with their SS13 two cents via Google, cheers internet.

Appropriately named ‘Fiasco Tech’, the girl and boy design duo chose psychedelic prints and patterns as their focal point. Namely, multi-colour paisley rendered in their five key shapes borne out of varying degrees of the triangle, from a-line trapeze silhouettes right through to full-on floor length gowns in swathes of sweeping silks. Nautical stripes juxtaposed prettier paisley and it came over as an ode to ‘Welcome to the Sixties’ slash ‘Girl on Film’, accessorised with circle shades and bouncing bouffants.

There was something for everyone and if prints aren’t your bag, their later palette of block-coloured evening gowns may win you over yet. Halter-necks were the neckline du jour which flowed into generous swathes of sheers and silks (sometimes slashed) with the odd ruffle thrown in for good measure.
