Introducing Our BOTW: San Zhi

Sanzhi is in Taiwan, and there is some quite interesting information you can read about the place here.

The mysterious resort inspires the name of an equally elusive new band who have not really put out much music – and even when they do, they keep taking it down. For example, San Zhi made a REALLY nice cover of Lauryn Hill’s ‘Ex Factor’ available for download on their Soundcloud and now it’s not there. WHY? Because they are mysterious.

Limited output from the artist = maximum intrigue from the audience. Even though that’s quite a straightforward marketing trick, we’ve fallen straight for it. What we do know about San Zhi is that the band consists of Peter and Suraya. And when we saw them play at the Sebright Arms a while back they had an additional three members with them in order to cater to a live setting. We found out other things in a Q & A we did with them which we’ll be publishing later this week, along with more revealing San Zhi goodies.
