BOTW Video: Eaux – Luther

Earlier this year, our current Band of the Week – London’s Eaux – released an incredibly well-received debut 7″ Luther/No Power.

As part of our Eaux-based revelry this week – you can check out our review of their upcoming i EP here – we’ve got the video to ‘Luther’ below. A sombre – and at times uneasy – depiction of life on the seaside and all its milieu; the clip brings out the sense of unchanging melancholy imbued in those people who work – or live – at these holiday destinations all year round. Set to a musical backdrop of Sian Ahern’s fragile vocals and gently-pulsating synths, it all makes for moving, if slightly unnerving, viewing.
