Joe Brummell #50: Kiehl’s Facial Fuel

We’re always on the look out for new and exciting products here at Notion; but new doesn’t necessarily always mean good. We all have a few products that we couldn’t live without – if something works then why try and change it? Iconic products – well, they’re iconic for a reason. ‘Facial Fuel’, our favourite moisturiser from Kiehl’s, is one such iconic product. Due to the popularity of this moisturiser Kiehl’s have expanded the Facial Fuel range to make sure there’s a version suitable for every skin types and all situations. Here’s our rundown on the entire Facial Fuel moisturiser range:

The Classic
The classic Facial Fuel moisturiser is formulated to awaken the skin with a slight tingling sensation perfect for use first thing in the morning. It refreshes dull and tired skin, is non-oily and enriched with chestnut extract and vitamin C. Facial Fuel also helps protect against the effects of environmental aggressors, use it every day for a healthy invigorated appearance.

The Sun Lover
Due to popular demand, Kiehl’s developed a Facial Fuel SPF 15 to help us protect our skin from the sun. Just like the original Facial Fuel, this moisturizer does everything the classic version does as well as protecting against UV rays that can cause premature ageing. This version has extra added vitamin E and soy to protect your skin from the elements.

The Mature Gent
For anyone who loves Facial Fuel but feels that their skin could do with a little extra TLC due to age, I give you the latest member of the Facial Fuel family: Facial Fuel Transformer which works to fight the first signs of ageing. Facial Fuel Transformer helps to instantly hide visible signs of aging with the help of blue alga, squalane and vitamin E. It’s also proven to improve overall skin smoothness and skin tone, in as little as 4 weeks.

Oily Skin
For anyone with oily skin or a problem t-zone Facial Fuel No-Shine Hydrator helps reduce the appearance of facial oils while boosting skin’s ability to maintain optimal hydration. A lightweight moisturizing gel with key ingredients such as sodium PCA and zinc oxide help to effectively mattify the skin’s surface leaving it clean and healthy-looking.
