Preview: Kitsuné Winter Party at Fire

It’s looking to be a pretty big news week for everybody’s favourite French fashion and record label, Kitsuné.

Firstly, the imprint’s winter party – which is going down on November 24 at London’s Fire – has had its full line-up announced. Headlining will be French electronic powerhouse Etienne de Crecy, who’ll be in good company on the night with sets also confirmed from the likes of DFA mainstay Nancy Whang, house maestro Fred Falke and recent Kitsuné signings Logo. If those don’t float your boat, Deep Shit – who are comprised of members of Friendly Fires and Foals – will be taking over Fire’s Room 3, too. If you’re lucky enough to have access to the venue’s VIP bar, there’ll also be free absinthe.

Which brings us nicely on to part two of our Kitsuné news extravaganza. In case you missed it, the label collaborated with Pernod Absinthe – creators of the world’s first commercially-sold absinthe – earlier this year and the two are now joining forces again for Kitsuné Maison 14 – The Absinthe Edition, which celebrates the imprint’s ten-year anniversary. It’s out now and is the latest release in their lauded Kitsuné Maison compilation series, featuring new cuts from Saint Lou Lou, Is Tropical and Lorenz Rhode.
