Preview: The Hydra’s New Year’s Double-Header

If you’ve got nothing planned for your New Year’s and have a predilection for mind-expanding dance music and think you can last two nights on the bounce, we might’ve found the perfect way for you to ring in 2013: The Hydra’s New Year’s double-header.

The club night – which is still in its infancy, having only been going for four months – was formed by Broken & Uneven earlier this year and has already hosted the likes of James Blake, Boddika and Loefah. For their New Year’s parties this year, taking place on 31 December and 1 January respectively at a London venue TBA, they’ve pulled in an eclectic array of talent including leftfield electronica label Border Community hosting NYE room 1 with appearances from James Holden, Nathan Fake, and Ivan Smagghe; meanwhile, NYD sees sets from many artists at the top of their game including Henrik Schwarz, Mosca, Shed, Dusky and countless others.

For full details on the events and to grab tickets while they’re hot, see the RA pages for both NYE and NYD.
