Brand Launch: Flying Horse Jeans

A new brand has launched here in London that has jeans on its mind.  Flying Horse Jeans, founded recently by David Rix and Sanjay Madan, is in the game of high-end jean-wear with a focus on solid indigo production.  The co-founders, who’ve both worked in the jean business for thirty years plus, are interested in making a product influenced by their travels and interests in Americana and Japanese culture. Their edge toward quality production is rooted in their work in the industry.

They just launched their new shop on Newburgh St. in Carnaby and to celebrate held a little soiree for fashion journalists and friends of the company.  Besides from drinks provided for guests, there was also an acoustic performance by Tim Burgess  and Mark Collins of The Charlatans.  Guests also got to select a gift from the various jeans and shirts that the new store will provide.

The shop itself reflects the influences on the products, with Japanese beach notes to the design. The result is a well-rounded experience that will undoubtedly entice the fashion-minded folks of London.
