Preview: Soho Flea Market 2013

The Soho Flea Market is returning to Dean Street after the resounding success of their inaugural artisan and designer craft event last year. Over 10,000 people flocked to Soho to sample the sights and sounds of local artists and musicians at specially erected market stalls and live music stages.

The organisers, City Showcase, are inviting anybody and everybody to get involved in the craft fair which is set to be double the size of last year. So if you are an artist, designer, craftsman, ceramicist, musician, filmmaker or even games developer and want to be involved check out their website and get your name out there. The deadline for submissions is 31st March.

Soho Flea Market has a strong relationship with Kids Company; founded in 1996 by the eccentric Camila Batmanghelidjh to provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children. The charity now reaches a staggering 17,000 children across the capital. Such a worthy cause means that all your potential purchases can be just that little bit more guilt free.

The Soho Flea Market will be held on Sunday 2nd June 2013 on Soho’s Dean Street.
