News: Boxfresh teams up with Teenage Cancer Trust

Boxfresh and retailer schuh are teaming up in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust with a new initiative that gives the consumer the chance to become the designer. Swich It Up is a competition in which participants are invited to create a fresh new design for Boxfresh’s classic Swich hi-top and its matching shoebox. Templates are available online and be customised manually or digitally so there is room for every level of creative ability.

The prizes are pretty impressive. The winning entry, as chosen by an expert panel, will see their design realised and produced to be sold at stores nationwide in addition to £1000 prize money and the chance to take a work design placement with the Boxfresh team. Consumer votes will also be counted through Facebook, and the entry deemed the most popular will also be awarded £500.

The Teenage Cancer Trust will also benefit as Boxfresh have pledged to donate £1 for every full competition entry in addition to 10% from the sale of each customised Swich trainer going straight to the charity.

Templates went live on January 14th and the competition runs until the 25th February. Voting will close on March 4th and the winner will be announced on March 19th.

Put your best foot forward.
