Preview: Blissfields 2013

Now in its 13th year, Hampshire’s Blissfields has rapidly become one of the UK festival circuit’s greatest treasures and this year’s event looks set to be another cracker. Adopting a film-oriented theme this time around, the weekend – which takes place July 5-7 – will include popcorn-throwing dance-offs, film screenings and celebrations of the best soundtracks of all time.

With headliners including the hotly-tipped Bastille, UK indie stalwarts Mystery Jets and the ever-fascinating Public Service Broadcasting, you can rest assured that Blissfields’ main stage will be well worth popping down to. It’s a rare opportunity to see some of your favourite up-and-coming acts in a reasonably intimate festival setting, and with adult tickets starting from as low as £80 per person, you’d do well to check it out. In the meantime, here’s the vid for Bastille’s ‘Pompeii’:
