News: Funny Tummy Exhibition

The creative mind behind Wolverhampton’s Funny Tummy was 14 when he got kicked out of school. Now 27 and exhibiting his artworks at The Royal Albert Hall, the illustrator/graphic designer is certainly having the last laugh. He started out producing hand-drawn mixtape covers for artists such as Tinie Tempah, Wretch 32 and Sway, before an impromptu portrait of Rihanna (which the singer herself subsequently bought – could there be a higher accolade?!) gained him widespread recognition. He’s since gone on to be commissioned by the likes of Adidas and Universal for projects such as office murals and mixtape covers. In his first ever solo-exhibition, which is open now and runs to July 1st, Funny Tummy presents around 30 pieces; all of which have been created specifically. As he’s represented by Renowned Group, who also do management for Wretch 32 and Jacob Banks, expect a strong Hip Hop link to shine through his work. For fans of contemporary art and music alike.
