Exclusive: Behind the scenes with M.O shooting the ‘Hot’ video

You’ve probably caught wind of the brilliant girl group M.O in the last few weeks and months, mostly due to their terrifyingly-catchy recent single ‘Ain’t Got Time‘ which has been on pretty heavy rotation pon the Notion stereo. Well they’ve got a fresh new follow-up called ‘Hot’ and we’ve been granted an insight into the workings of music video land. The video covers everything from the concept of an interactive workshop with a fresh wave of talented young dancers to the joys of shoot catering and triangular sandwiches. We also hear from the video’s director, the legendary Phil Griffin (of Jay-Z, Amy Winehouse and Rihanna video fame) and a few snippets of the song. Which we’re rather partial to btw: M.O’s fusion of dancehall, oldskool R&B, reggae, and elements of underground house, garage and UK bass is bloody addictive and we reckon that this single is gonna do pretty well. Anyway, enough of me waffling on, check out the video right here, right now:

‘Hot’ will be available to download from iTunes this Sunday.
