Moodboard: Milo Greene

On the back of their hugely acclaimed, self-titled debut album, which dropped earlier this year on the legendary Fierce Panda, we asked indie-rock quintet Milo Greene to put together a moodboard of the things that inspire them; whether that be The Doobie Brothers, Lucky Charms or Will Ferrell. Below, have a listen to their blustery latest single, ’1957′:

The band are also set for a trio of UK dates this weekend, which you can see at the bottom of the page. In the meantime, let the moodboard commence!

1. Nardwuar Vs. Vanilla Ice

“The most brilliant man in the music business, Nardwaur that is.”

2. Lou Reed at his most innocent.

“I’d let him take my daughter to the pictures.”

3. A selected scene from the 1994 motion picture, Clifford.

“Perhaps one of the most under rated scenes of my early adolescence.”

4. Billy Joel losing control.

“It can happen to the best of us…”

5. The Doobie Brothers performing ‘Jesus is Just Alright’.

“Perhaps the first song I ever heard coming out of my dad’s car stereo.”

7. Will Ferrell, Danny McBride & Craig Robinson.

“Funny people making funny people laugh.”

8. Outkast – ‘Jazzy Belle’

“Maybe one of the greatest songs ever written…”
