Crashed, Collided & United: An Update on the adidas Collide Project

You might remember a few months ago we got rather excited about a fresh project from adidas originals called Crash & Collide. No? Here’s our Seb with a quick reminder – adidas went on the search for aspiring creative talent to develop fresh illustrated interpretations of the iconic adidas  logos like the trefoil and the three stripes and the like.

And they provoked a massive reaction: from the many, many entries received, the adidas judging panel have now selected the standout illustrations that are being showcased right now (literally RIGHT NOW) in adidas’ Covent Garden store – and online here in case central London isn’t your hood. Our fave is this very piece’s header image – Astan Istval’s graphic interpretation reminds us of ‘80s Keith Haring mashed with Matisse’s cutout collages. The three winners will each receive sponsorship from the brand and a money-can’t-buy opportunities to get their careers off the ground.
