Party on at the relaunched Browns Focus this weekend

We’ve heard industry whispers for a while now, but the day has finally come: the iconic Browns department store on London’s South Molton street has relaunched it’s forward-thinking ‘Focus’ store at number 24. Browns Focus has (excuse the pun) refocused, with fresh new furnishings, interior design and labels into a world of two halves: on the ground floor a hard, industrial eveningwear department juxtaposes the luxurious fabrics and innovative cuts against strict, pared-back surroundings; in the basement a glowing, minimal world lights up the directional daywear on offer.

There’s a plethora of fresh brands on offer alongside the usual brilliance we’ve come to expect from Browns: jewellery from Ek Thongprasert, Natasha Goldenberg and Ryan Storer sits alongside new apparel design talent like Filles a Papa, Tiger Sushi Furs, Love Leather, Pyer Moss and Enfants Riches Deprimes. Browns Focus also boasts an extensive range of exclusive product from Simone Rocha, Christopher Kane, Ashish, Ostwald Helgason, Olympia Le Tan, Love Leather, Maison Labiche, Rodarte, Opening Ceremony, Stampd, Dezso and oh loads and loads more…

To celebrate the hard launch of the new Brown Focus, Iconic illustrator Ted Pearce has revealed his limited edition range of t-shirts exclusive to Browns Focus and they are awesome: he’s taken pop culture figures and illustrated them onto simple t-shirts for a line called Ted’s Draws. And they are £30. WIN, right?  The designer himself will be making a personal appearance and spinning a live DJ Set in-store today until 6pm and all tomorrow so head on down and join the party – it’s where we’ll be!
