Farah Vintage host Farah Fridays Live throughout August

‘Farah Fridays Live’ kicked off last weekend, and saw Camden Roundhouse host the Farah Vintage beach hut, to celebrate and support young emerging artists. Created in 1920 in the US, Farah Vintage didn’t reach the UK until the early 70s. It has since built a cult status within the fashion industry, due to their slim cut and sharply tailored trousers which became an immediate hit with the youth of Britain. Farah have partnered with the Roundhouse to host Farah Fridays, an initiative designed to inspire and support young musicians. The event will run every Friday throughout August where everyone can purchase items from the Farah Vintage collection, and has free entry everyday between 12 noon to 11pm (Monday 5pm to 11pm).

‘Farah Fridays Live’ arrives ahead of the new AW13 Monster Prints Range. This upcoming collection sees Farah reach into 1950s American and Japanese sub-culture and add a unique twist of pre-tech science fiction. Film stills, monster prints and hand drawn cartoons feature on the new tees, shirts and sweats.
