News: Lorde is set to head to the UK to promote new album ‘Pure Heroine’

16-year-old New Zealander pop sensation, Lorde, has won our hearts at Notion. Her silky smooth vocals, and ability to create musical magic is something we applaud. After spending the past eight months being hailed as one of 2013′s most original, individualistic and talked-about new artists, Lorde is preparing to release her highly anticipated debut album, ‘Pure Heroine’, in the UK on October 28th via Virgin Records.

The album will feature the singles ‘Tennis Court’ and the insatiably infectious ‘Royals’. The latter is a certified favorite here at Notion, and will have anyone singing along by the time the second chorus comes around. ‘Royals’ will be released in the UK on October 20th, and is available to pre-order now. The track has already achieved huge success stateside too, finding its way into the top 10 singles chart, and the debut EP, ‘The Love Club’, has climbed into the top 10 Album Chart too. Lorde is set to head to UK for her first show, hosted by White Heat at Madame Jojo’s in London September 17th. In the meantime, we’re going to listen to ‘Royals’ for the millionth time, and sit and wait for the album to drop on October 28th!
